Portal de Periódicos da Capes disponibiliza novo conteúdo: base CABI compendia e base JSTOR - Art & Sciences Collection 01

Dando continuidade ao desenvolvimento da coleção do Portal de Periódicos da CAPES informamos que estamos disponibilizando a base CABI compendia voltada à área de ciências agrárias. As enciclopédias interativas do CABI Compendia são ferramentas multimídias que procuram oferecer os mais diversos tipos de informações para a pesquisa científica. Cada Compêndio inclui informações de experts, editado e compilado por uma organização científica independente. São quatro séries:
1. Forestry Compendium: Ferramenta de referência, que fornece base para a seleção de espécies lenhosas e suas variedade de uso, incluindo ensaios em plantio, sistemas agroflorestais e floresta natural. Abrange florestas tropicais, subtropicais, temperadas e boreais e suas espécies com importância econômica e local.
2. Crop Protection Compendium: Traz informações científicas em todos os aspectos relativos à proteção das culturas de plantio incluíndo pragas, doenças e ervas daninhas e os seus inimigos naturais.
3. Animal Health & Production Compendium: Fornece informações científicas sobre todos os aspectos da saúde animal e de produção, incluindo doenças, nutrição, pecuária e reprodução.
4. Aquaculture Compendium: Mais de 700 páginas de informações em mais de 300 culturas de espécies aquáticas, abrangendo a utilização sustentável dos recursos aquáticos de água doce e água salgada em todo o mundo, cobrindo peixes, crustáceos, moluscos e algas, totalizando mais de 150.000 registros.
Além disso, estamos disponibilizando a base JSTOR - Art & Sciences Collection 01, trata-se de coleção retrospectiva de periódicos voltada às áreas de ciências sociais aplicadas, ciências exatas e da terra, ciências biológicas e ciências humanas.
Trata-se da primeira coleção produzida pelo JSTOR em 1997. Inclui o acervo completo de 119 títulos abrangendo 15 disciplinas, incluindo as mais importantes publicações de sociedades voltadas para as áreas de economia, história, ciências políticas, sociologia, assim como outros importantes títulos em ecologia, matemática e estatística, conforme descrito a seguir:
